Meeting Up With Haley at Mile 22

The best part of the marathon was at 35 km (22 miles) when I met up with Haley. We were really worried we wouldn’t be able to meet up due to all the chaos of the event.  When I saw her, I knew I only had a little over 4 miles to go. She stayed with me right up until the last stretch leading into the stadium. I couldn’t have done it without her.
